Ever wondered what "Diva on a Dollar" is really about?

Ever wondered if it was for you?

Ever wondered if it was worth it? (the time, the money, the energy etc)?

Well, Diva went to Collingwood last weekend and transformed the lives of several women in a one-day workshop.  
Guests ranged in age, size, career, family - but they all had one thing in common…
they all wanted to learn how to be the 'best them' they could be.

Enter Rita & Jen and a day of learning, laughter and rejuvenation.

The morning started out with a light breakfast and then an impromptu dance party to wake up and let loose.

Each guest was surprised with the most adorable treat box which included a lipstick pen and lip shaped post-it pad.
SO Pink Ink!

The soon-to-be Diva's learned everything from defining their body shape and face shape,

to which hair style would accentuate your features and learning to dress to emphasize what you've got.

This is not a cult initiation, it's our mid-morning break and "groove session" - Thank you Becca for teaching everyone the latest craze in working out!

There were tutorials on how to dress for various events and audiences and guests even did an impromptu shopping session to make sure that what was learned could be replicated at home.

The late afternoon session focused on make-up.
Two looks - professional and glamour - with hands on practice and assistance.

Where else can you get this kind of comprehensive program?
Something that completely shifts your image into overdrive.

I feel confident that every single Diva that completed the program will affirm - that this program is more than worth the time, energy and money.

"MOMinations" - Nominate your favourite Mom!

One more Mother's Day idea…

Okay two, but I'm going to make you look like a rockstar!

My gals at Pink Ink have a contest coming up called "The Face of Pink Ink 2014".

It's not the contest so much that I'm endorsing (although I am a sponsor!) it's the experience that you could give to your Mom, wife, sister or bestie.

Let me break it down for you:

You nominate an amazing woman in your life by submitting a letter to info@pinkinkimage.com.  (there is a $99 fee - but wait till you see what that gets them!)

Pink Ink (or I) will then forward your nomination on to your nominee to let them know exactly how wonderful you think they are and to let them know what's in store:

• The nominee will get their hair professionally styled.
• They will have their make-up professionally applied
• They be dressed by professional stylists 
• They will be photographed in all their glory by a professional photographer who will give them a digital copy of their favourite image from the photo shoot.
• They will also receive a swag bag of goodies from some of the other sponsors of the event.

So that's the "What everyone gets" portion of the contest.

Tell me that doesn't sound like an amazing gift for someone special?

There is no way you could ever get all of this ANYWHERE for $99!

• The contest runs until September 2014 and there will be specific dates set up for the styling, photography etc in each area of Ontario.
• There are three age groups to the contest (so three winners!)  Ages 16 - 24, ages 25 - 40 and ages 41+

Winners will receive;

• Professional photoshoot with Angelic Images Photography featuring two different looks; professional and glamour.
• An 8x10 print of your favourite shot
• A blog article featuring YOU on the Pink Ink blog
• A blog article featuring YOU on 100Things2Do blog

• An opportunity to be a presenter at the end-of-year fundraiser for Single Women in Motherhood (S.W.I.M.)

Happy Mother's Day - to ME!

For Mother's Day this year I have an extensive wish list…

• I want some time for me,
• I want to eat at a restaurant that doesn't have a kiddie menu,
• I want to sleep in a bed that has less than 4 people and two pets in it,
• I want to go to the bathroom - by myself,
• I want to shop,
• I want to learn something,
• I want to go somewhere, 
• I want a makeover,
• I want to learn about fashion and how I can become more stylish,
• I want to laugh with people and make new friends,

and

• I want to do all of this within a reasonable budget.

The Holy Grail you say?

Not so - and let me tell you - Mom's you've EARNED at least this!

Wake up the next morning to a continental breakfast and take your steaming hot tea to the morning presentation and learn how to be a better you.

Pink Ink's workshop Diva on a Dollar is moving throughout Ontario!  This 1 day workshop will reinvigorate your sense of style and help you bring out your inner diva!  Handouts, exercises, business tips, practical application and so much more!  Come enjoy a day of fun and girl time with Pink Ink!

Fashion Story Boards - Oh my, oh my!!!

Watch out world, Pink Ink has been introduced to a new means of helping women look and feel their best!!  STORY BOARDS!!!!  Oh my goodness what fun.  It is like shopping in your own home.  How fun is it to shop, watch your favorite show and eat a decadent dessert in the comfort of your living room in your comfy jammies and create story boards!?  Oh my, oh my are we having fun!  Thank you to Shelly from 100Things2Do.blogspot.ca for introducing this to us and helping us create the storyboards!

 Hasn't she done an amazing job so far?  We are excited to use clothing from local stores for women who are very petite to women who are extra lovely and everyone in between.  Have you heard us say we love what we do?  Well if you haven't, just in case you did not know - WE LOVE WHAT WE DO!!!  Please comment and let us know what you think of the styles.  We love feedback.  Remember, you are and can be anything you want to be.
