The latest hottest accessory - Zipsessory! LUV!!!!

We don't often focus on accessories, but it is necessary.  

We've told you that to make an outfit your own, or just different from how you usually wear it, changing the accessories is all you need to do!  

Well, check this out.  For those of you who don't know what a Zipsessory is, it is basically an accessory for your zippers.  

Yes, you read correctly, an accessory for your zippers!!!  

Ladies, you know all of the times you wish you had a partner or a roommate who could zip up the back of your dress because a) your arm isn't long enough or b) the zipper thingy is too short?  Well, Zipsessories helps with that problem AND makes you look stylish at the same time.  Brilliant right?

Shelley Bair, the creator and CEO of Zippsessory says that like many great and innovative products, Zipsessory was created by accident!  Shelley had purchased a pair of knee high boots and removed the price tag.  the plastic hoop remained on the boots after she took the price tag off.  When she did them up for the first time she found that it was much easier to pull up the boot zipper with the plastic loop.  However, the plastic loop was not all that "pretty" so she wondered if anyone made nice zipper pulls for zippers.  Her answer was "no".  So Shelley, being Shelley, decided to take matters into her own hands and Zipsessory Inc was born!  She created her own sophisticated, ingenious jewelry for zippers and this product eventually evolved into a whole product line of zipper jewelry.

Gratitude

In a few words the Face of Pink Ink is a contest, that, on the surface may seem like a beauty contest or even a popularity contest.  However, it is so much more.  It started in 2013 and took a month to put together.  We thought, why not have a contest to allow women to feel great about themselves - Queen for a day - and get the name Pink Ink out to the public.  Our little idea - BLEW UP!!!  We had no idea that this contest would mean so much to so many.

We have had women contact us to thank us for helping them see what they haven't seen in years.  We have had women tear up and just stare at themselves.  We have had women smile from ear to ear until their face hurt.  And most importantly, we have had women feel better about themselves because someone urged them to enter a contest that is more about her inner beauty than her outer beauty.  The Face of Pink Ink has morphed into an Empowerment Program for women to have opportunities to speak in public, share their stories, be spokesmodels for our company and yes, have glamour photoshoots where they feel like a rockstar.  Although we would all love to believe that the outer shell of a person doesn't matter when it comes to public perception, it simply is not true.  A well put together woman exudes a confidence that a rushing rhino could not stop!  So Rita and I want to say thank you to ALL of you ladies who participated in the Face of Pink Ink 2013 and 2014.

This sounds cliche, but Rita and I get such a high when we see women feel good about themselves and are happy with who they are.  You really don't know how much it means to us to hear those words - "Thank you so much".  Because to an outsider those words may seem like someone showing their appreciation, Rita and I understand the meaning behind it and to all of you who expressed your gratitude to us we want to say - You are most welcome.  You are so beautiful and we are blessed to have been a part of your lives even if it was only for a short time.

So, this post is called Gratitude.  Why?  We could not have been as successful as we were in helping our contestants feel like queens if it were not for our many Swag Bag sponsors who contributed a gift to each of our contestants.  Yes, the Swag was MAGnificent!  (I love to rhyme, I know, kinda corny - lol).

What is this contest anyway?  

The Face of Pink Ink contest is an empowerment program for women of all ages.  It's a contest that was created with the uniqueness of women in mind!  Contestants will receive professional hair, makeup, styling, photoshoot, their favorite image in digital form and an amazing Swag Bag filled with items from our sponsors  for only $99!!!!!!!
